BABBACOMBE MODEL VILLAGE
Babbacombe Model Village on the english riviera is famous for its miniature landscaped gardens set on 4 acres of lush garden leading it to be branded as one of Europe's Premier Model Villages and one of Torquay's most beautiful gardens. Since the village opened in 1963 the park has continued to expand the number of features on display. It portrays English life and culture over the last 6 decades and is sure to bring to life those childhood memories! There are over 400 miniature buildings with a population of approx 13,000 people along with 300 metres of model train track in the village. The Village is primarily one town, an entirely fictional one of course, but many buildings within them are based on UK prototypes and landmarks including Stonehenge and The Shard. Whilst on holiday in Torquay I paid a visit with my Camera and managed to capture these detailed images of a truly awesome experience.
