BOBL BACH
BOBL BACH by Ceri Williams are textile sculptures made from needle felted wool and other textiles. Being a good friend of my Daughter, Ceri asked me to photograph these amazing figures, each one has a unique magical name, 'The Storyteller' 'Metamorphosis' 'Tree Elfin' and 'Selfie' are just some of the names she has used for her creations. Ceri creates her little characters using wool and other textiles. Her creations take around 20 hours and each one is unique. The wool is needle felted to produce the form, this is a technique which involves using merino wool and a single barbed needle. The hair is made from pure wool locks. This can be Masham locks, Wensleydale, mohair or banana silks. Luxury textiles of the best quality are always used. The sculpture is finished with glass beads and wire sculpted accessories. They are approx 12-18 inches tall. I hope you enjoy looking at them.
